The cottage is centrally located and a great base for days out to a whole variety of attractions, with the stunning North Norfolk coast being just under an hour's drive away. Here's just a snippet of suggestions to help you plan your time -

Oxburgh Hall, Oxborough (National Trust) 10mins (entrance £12 p/p)
Built in 1482, view the Victorian Gothic interiors and stroll within the formal gardens. The Bedingfeld Arms pub is directly opposite should you fancy refreshments afterwards.

Gooderstone Water Gardens and nature trail 12mins (entrance £9 p/p)
Relax and unwind in a beautiful tranquil setting and view the six acre gardens with numerous streams and bridges.

Castle Rising 35mins
Walk within the ruins of a 12th century Norfolk castle, admire the scenic views and pop by the Black Horse Inn for lunch (castle £6 entrance p/p)

Castle Acre priory 30mins

Walsingham abbey ruins, museum, and old court house. Also it's well worth wandering the village and visiting the farm shop 45mins

Visit 170 acres of Norfolk Wetland which is home to some of the world's most endangered species of deer, antelope and birds. (cost is £80 for a 4-seater self-drive buggie for 1h30m).
